MCP Server - integrate Claude, ChatGPT etc with ActivityInfo

After a few months of testing and security review, we’ve just gone live with a built-in Model Context Provider (MCP) Server for ActivityInfo. MCP is an open-standard that makes it easy to connect your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini Enterprise, etc) to your ActivityInfo databases.

Already, this is quite a powerful connector for rapidly creating forms and databases, data analysis, summarization, qualitative coding, etc. But we’ll continue to expand the “tools” made available to the assistants based on the feedback we get.

For example, there are currently “tools” exposed for adding and editing forms, but not yet for building roles. That will be a next step, and then the assistant can help you both review roles and configure new ones.

Note that access to the MCP server is disabled by default, the database owner has to enable it first:
