Role Configeration: Field-level Permissions

Hi ActivityInfoers,

I want to set-up an approval workflow for the PCM, where only supervisors can submit resonse to the questions “Approval Status”.

I’ve successfully set the case worker role as NOT able to Edit ‘Reviewer only’ fields, but only the Protection Team leader and the Area Protection Manager can.

However, when I was setting-up for Protection Team Leader, under the Manage Conditions, I can select the following formula condition.

However, when it comes to the Area Protection Manager, which is the supervisor of the team lead, and when I select “Record is related to parameter”. Supervisor option is not available.

I have two questions:

  1. In my case, what would be the difference between the condition “Record is related to parameter” and “Record assigned to a supervisor”? And which condition would recommend me to set-up for both the Team Lead and the Area Protection Manager? Context is that, Team Leader should be the first-line to grant approval, but if absense, then the approval can be granted also be Area Protection Manager.

  2. If, your recommendation is to select the condition “Record is related to parameter”, however the option “supervisor” is not there (see screenshot 2), how to address this?
