With ActivityInfo, we’ve tried to combine the best of two world: a relational database and a user-friendly form builder, and we’ve had some success there! But one thing from the “form builder” world that we’re missing is grids, which are particularly useful in survey forms.
There are a few different issues related to “grids” in data entry, so it’s taken us awhile to disentangle them. For indicator disaggregations, we’ve built the Matrix data entry view, but that doesn’t address the Likert-scale series common to surveys. For this we’ve designed a seperate field type:
